But I'd Rather Be Alone With You

Her dad is following a lead he didn't want them coming with him on which leaves her and Isaac alone in the hotel room. It's actually kind of amazing her dad would ever leave them alone in such a situation but at least he seems to do better with Isaac than he had with Scott.

He's growing as a person. As they all were.

She turns to her boyfriend, smiling. "Have I told you lately how glad I am you came with us?"

After all, Kate isn't his family, Isaac hadn't had to join this hunt.

Isaac is fresh out of the shower, wet curls plastered across his forehead, as he sits on the edge of Allison's bed rummaging through his suitcase looking for a clean pair of socks. The air mattress Mr. Argent had bought him is already set up and awaiting him but while it's dark outside it's still relatively early by the clock and Isaac isn't tired yet.

With a smile of his own, he glances over at her. "There's no place I'd rather be."

Allison gets up from the bed now, ready for her own turn at the shower. She starts tugging at her clothes as she wanders into the bathroom to grab one of the towels. It's late but she isn't particularly tired either.

She smiles at his words as she continues to strip, wrapping the towel around at the same time the magic way all girls seem to know how to do.

"Even though you always get stuck on the air mattress?" She asks, teasing.

[cramped]

He follows her unashamedly with his eyes until she disappears from sight. "It's actually pretty comfortable." A lot better than just some sheets on the floor.

After what feels like taking literally every other item out of the suitcase, Isaac finally comes up with two ankle-high black socks. Trading his jeans for gym shorts and his button-down for a soft v-neck, he settles down to idly flip through channels on the tv while she showers.

"I'm glad."

And she is. She wouldn't want him to be uncomfortable. And with that she heads into the shower, coming out eventually with one towel wrapped around her torso and another working through her hair to dry it.

"Find anything good yet?" She asks, glancing over at the the TV.

[cramped]

"Nah." Just a bunch of re-runs of old sitcoms he doesn't watch and some telenovelas he couldn't understand even if he wanted to. Setting down the remote, he sighs. "I should probably go fill the cooler with ice. I noticed when we brought it in that it was getting pretty low."

[transferee]

"That's a good idea. My dad will appreciate us taking care of that while he's gone."

She runs the towel through her hair a few more times, trying to get the excess water out as much as possible.

[cramped]

Isaac hefts the cooler bag and takes it into the bathroom to dump out all of the water left behind from when the last batch of ice melted. "I'll be right back," he tells her, brushing a quick kiss against her still-damp cheek as he heads out of the room to go find the ice machine.

[transferee]

While he's gone she changes into her night clothes -- a pair of boxers and an old, soft flannel shirt. She's sitting on the corner of the bed, braiding her hair loosely when he comes back.

[cramped]

Isaac finishes restocking the cooler with bottles of Gatorade and water before moving to flop down onto the air mattress. "What do you want to do now?" It still seems too early for bed and they've already established there is nothing worth watching on tv.

[transferee]

"Well, we could take advantage of having the room alone for once." It doesn't happen all that often, it would seem a shame to just let it go to waste.

[cramped]

Oh, wow. "That's uh... Yeah. That's good thinking." He grins.

[transferee]

She smirks a little at that response. "Somehow, I thought you might like that idea."

[cramped]

"What's not to like?" Isaac counters, rolling over onto his side in order to watch her better.

As much as Mr. Argent seems to be okay with him dating his daughter, he's also careful to never leave them alone together for any significant period of time. The fact that he's gone right now says a lot about the importance of whatever lead he's currently out there chasing.

[transferee]

She finishes braiding her hair, securing it loosely with a hair tie. There. Done.

"Are you going to keep sitting all the way over there or what?" She counters again, tilting her head as if curious to see what he might do in response.

[cramped]

Allison doesn't have to ask him twice. Isaac quickly makes a beeline over to where she's sitting, crawling across the mattress to her.

[transferee]

She grins as he makes his way over to her, not wasting any time. And in the interest of not wasting time she leans in, pressing her lips against his.

[cramped]

Isaac's eyes flutter closed as her mouth warmly molds itself to his. A few wisps of her hair that didn't make it into her braid tickle his face and he reaches to gently brush them back behind her ear.

[transferee]

She smiles against the kiss as he tucks her hair behind her ear. Her eyes flutter closed as she tries to lose herself in the moment. They don't get a lot of time alone, might as well make the best of it.

[cramped]

It's frustrating, spending so much time in close quarters with her but never being able to touch her the way he really wants to. Isaac slowly leans back until he's laying down against the mound of pillows, pulling her carefully on top of him as he does.

[transferee]

She shifts her body so she's laying on top of him, one leg straddling each of his sides as she does so. It's difficult, always being so close but having to keep a distance because of her father's ever looming presence.

Who knew when they would next get an opening like this.

[cramped]

Isaac reaches up underneath of her shirt to first stroke the soft skin of her stomach and then palm the rounded swell of her bare breasts.

[transferee]

A soft gasp escapes her lips as she feels the warm touch of his fingers against her skin. Her teeth worry at his bottom lip teasingly, leaving small indents for a moment.

[cramped]

That little gasp causes him to smile a bit into their kiss. Of course he wants to take off her shirt completely but what they're doing is already risky enough.

[transferee]

It's true. They have no idea how much time they have before her father gets back, even just making out like this is a risk. But it's one she's willing to take as she breaks from the kiss to catch her breath. Once she does she starts pressing her lips against his jaw, trailing down to his neck.

[cramped]

"Allison..." He groans out her name, while tilting his head a little more to the side, giving her better access.
